Limitless has delivered the first Pendant. CEO Dan Siroker posted the milestone on 6 September 2024, after April’s announcement had pointed to August shipping (Dan Siroker, 6 September 2024; The Verge, 15 April 2024). The April piece quoted a 100-hour battery. That figure is now attached to hardware leaving the building, which is a different kind of statement, and it still needs a specification sheet that states it in hours a buyer can check.
What Limitless did specify at announcement, and what this desk will keep citing, is the recording indicator. The Pendant uses a white LED that is on while capturing. A wearable that listens all day without a phone in the room is only defensible if other people can see it doing so.
The rest of the public picture is still thin. Limitless has not published a microphone count or a weight. It has said the device buffers speech on-device so capture continues when Bluetooth drops. Processing is in Limitless’s cloud.
Compared with hardware already on sale, the Pendant is the first shipping wearable here whose job is the whole day rather than the meeting you remembered to start. The Plaud Note remains the card you put on a phone. The AI Pin remains an assistant you touch. Those are three different products that will keep being marketed as one category. The Limitless Pendant page will track which of the April numbers survive a help-centre article.
