Plaud has a successor to the card that started this beat. The Note Pro is a 2.99 mm MagSafe recorder with four MEMS microphones, a voice-pickup unit, a 0.95-inch AMOLED display and Gorilla Glass. As of today Plaud lists preorders at $179, with shipping in October (TechCrunch, 27 August 2025; Plaud launch release).
Four microphones and a claimed 5 m pickup are the reason to care. The original Plaud Note is two mics and 3 m. Everything wearable on this list is one or two mics and a hope. A screen that shows recording state is the second reason: LED colour as UI is how the rest of the category tells you whether you are recording people.
Forbes printed the software prices that actually govern the device: 300 minutes a month on the free starter tier, Pro at $99.99 a year for 1,200 minutes, Unlimited at $239.99 a year (Forbes, 27 August 2025). Preorder extras (600 minutes, a magnetic case) are launch sugar. The working cost is Plaud Pro.
Watch the battery sentence. Plaud will advertise 50 hours. If that number only holds in a reduced-range Endurance mode, it is the Note’s 30-hour day in a louder typeface. This desk will not print 50 without the mode. The Plaud Note Pro page waits on a specification table that separates Enhance from Endurance, and on a card that is still carried rather than worn.
