Plaud’s own shipping policy said the first Note Pro batch would dispatch in October (Plaud shipping policy). Plaud’s EU specification page is the one to read: 30 hours in Enhance mode at the full 5 m pickup, 50 hours only in Endurance mode, which drops pickup to 3 m (Plaud EU, Note Pro). Both numbers are honest. Only one of them is the answer to why you would pay more than the Plaud Note.
August preorder copy said $179. Plaud’s live U.S. product page is the figure this desk will score from here (Plaud Note Pro). Call recording, WAV/MP3 export and the AMOLED state display are the grown-up features. Cloud transcription with no on-device ASR is the limitation it shares with every other Plaud.
Capture is now a solved problem in this category if you will carry a card. Four beamforming MEMS microphones plus a VPU is not a pin, a pendant or a ring. It is a recorder that happens to look like a MagSafe wallet. Wearability scores will treat it that way on purpose. Anyone who wanted Plaud’s stack on a body already has the NotePin, which is worse at this job.
The Plaud Note Pro page will use 30 hours as the battery figure that matches full microphone performance, with a note for the 50-hour mode, and will not invent a storage-hours number while Plaud’s own pages disagree about what 64 GB holds.
